We do not measure the success of our church by the size of our building, or by the amount of people that attend. Our churches success is measured by the entrance of God’s word into the heart of men. As we magnify the Lord and His word, we have seen God work in amazing ways! God has created here at CBBC an atmosphere where people have a genuine love and desire to serve God, to grow spiritually while helping others grow, and to stive to be all that God wants us to be. Through the work in our hearts, we have seen God bless us with a building, and grow us numerically. Our prayer is that God would never stop perfecting the saints here, that He would greatly burden us for the lost and help us to point all to Christ. He is worthy!
**Building Match**
The Lord has blessed by someone offering to match the funds that would be needed to complete our building! These funds would go towards a new heating system (boiler is original 1975), summer climate control (significant humidity in the summer), complete the new sanctuary (we are pushing the limits of our current setup), finish classrooms, offices, the kitchen and get signage done outside.
With inflation and financial uncertainty, it is amazing to see God provide in ways that we could never imagine! We are stepping out by faith as He leads and guides us into the next stages of our building projects. We would love to have you visit and see with your own eyes the things that words cannot describe. God is working here in the mid-coast Maine region, and we are just thrilled that He would consider us to be part of it all!
Nearly $50,000 has been raised toward the goal! We will be having a missionary builder coming with a crew of 50 men towards the end of April to help us get into our new sanctuary. We are excited for all that God is doing to provide both the labor and the funds to see the work accomplished here in Maine!
The total goal is $250k so with the match we need to raise $125k. We are praying that God would do it by the end of 2023! Would you please pray with us as we continue to do the Lords work here in Maine? Would you also consider helping us reach the financial goal that is before us? We know God can do it by few or by many and we are trusting His provision and timing in it all!
